Dr. Sanusi Saheed Olakunle

Dr. Sanusi S. O. has a sound educational background in Agricultural Economics at home and abroad. He acquired his first degree and graduated has the best student at the University of Agriculture (Unaab), 2002. He has a rich working experience of over a decade and in different capacity as Agricultural Development Officer, Project Manager and Project Facilitator with Saro Agrosciences Limited, Dizengoff (West Africa)-A multinational company and World Bank Assisted Fadama II Project. During his working sojourn, Sanusi attended series of training at Lagos Business School (LBS) and other Institutes to improve his administrative, management and leadership ability. He equally acquired Master in Business Management, MBA (Agribusiness bias) from University of Jos.
In a quest to developed his passion for research and development, Sanusi move his career to academic in 2015. He immediately proceeds to Prestigious University of Reading, United Kingdom where he batches Master of Science, MSc (Agricultural Economics). He recently completed his Doctoral degree, PhD (Agricultural Economics) at University of Abuja. Dr. Sanusi has won several awards as a student nationally and internationally such as Red Award and Stanley Howard Hodgkin Scholarship Award from the University of Reading for outstanding employability performance and Distinct research work in Agriculture respectively. He has over thirty (30) articles in reputable journals with high index and presented his research work in a number of conference proceedings.
Dr. Sanusi is very proficient in research idea generation, planning, coordination and possess rich acumen in scientific writing, data analysis and sound presentation skills He has been involved in teaching of several courses at different level in the Department of Agricultural Economics and has undertaken supervision of research projects. He has been involved in several consultancy project that dealt with business analysis, business intelligence, feasibility and report writing, entrepreneurship development and project management. He is a member of proficient professional organization such as Nigeria Institute of Management, Nigerian Asspciation of Agricultural Economists, Horticultural Society of Nigeria, among others
Dr. Sanusi is happily married and blessed with four children (2 boys and 2 girls).
